Earth Science - this course is the basic introduction to the subjects of astronomy, geology and meteorology. Topics include the composition of the universe, weather and climate, plate tectonics and fossils. Particular emphasis is given to problem solving, the scientific method and incorporating scientific understanding into the events of every day life. Discussion, projects and labs are all requirements for the course.

Physical Science - this course is the introduction of chemistry and physics. Topics include the structure of matter, energy, the physical laws of nature, solutions, compounds & mixtures, and chemical formulas. Emphasis is given to problem solving, the scientific method and incorporating scientific understanding into the events of every day life. Discussion, projects and labs are all requirements for the course.
