Admissions at The Smith School

  • The admissions process at The Smith School begins with our downloadable application form. While no entrance exam is required, students may be asked to complete an assessment to determine the appropriate academic placement.

  • Part I: Application & Required Documents

    • Completed Application Form and $50 processing fee

    • Transcripts from the previous two academic years

    • IEP, Educational & Psychological Evaluations, and Immunization Record (if applicable)

    • Two teacher evaluations (Math and English preferred)

    • Writing Sample – A recent piece of your child’s schoolwork

    • Recent Photo – A printed photo may be mailed, or a digital photo can be emailed

    Once all Part I materials have been received, our Office of Admissions will contact your family to schedule an interview and move forward with Part II of the admissions process.
